PrideFest will kick off this year's festival with an exclusive Midwest performance by one of the world's biggest comediennes, Wanda Sykes. She has been called "one of the funniest stand up comics" by her peers, she ranks among Entertainment Weekly's 25 Funniest People in America, and she was featured in the April issue of Vanity Fair as one of the "Queens of Comedy."

An American icon and musical genius, Stevie Wonder is recognized as one of the most influential singers and songwriters of the 20th century...and you can see him at the Marcus during Summerfest!

In addition to his 30 top 10 hits, such as “Part Time Lover,” “Ebony And Ivory,” and “I Just Called to Say I Love You,” as well as the well-known charity collaborations “We Are The World” and “That’s What Friends Are For,” he has also won over 20 Grammy awards, including a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Since the 2001 debut of Songs In A Minor, which spawned her signature hit “Fallin” and garnered five Grammy Awards including Best New Artist and Best R&B Album, New York native Alicia Keys has built an unparalleled repertoire of hits and accomplishments. Her follow-up disc, 2004’s The Diary of Alicia Keys, which is currently seven times Platinum, captured four additional Grammy Awards and featured the hits “If I Ain’t Got You,” “You Don’t Know My Name,” and “Karma.”

The most commercially successful R&B group of all time, Boyz II Men, will step into the spotlight on the Main Stage on Friday, August 8 at 8:00pm with three of their original members on stage performing. Boyz II Men combine their hip-hop doo wop with soulful and harmonious ballads that created an unmistakable sound that dominated the airwaves throughout the 90s.

Concertgoers will want to be in their seats early but shouldn’t plan on sitting in them when Midnight Star takes the stage to open the show at 8pm. Known for a plethora of 80s dance favorites such as “Operator,” “Wet My Whistle,” “No Parking on the Dance Floor,” “Midas Touch,” “Curious” and, of course, the lovers ballad of the mid-80s, “Slow Jam,”.

Geroge Lopez's difficult childhood served as the basis on which he would build a career by finding the humor in his experiences and in the Mexican-American community in general. These experiences would be transformed into material that Lopez would soon use for his stand up comedy acts.
