NEW Hotline Number for Food Stamps
The state of Wisconsin officially takes over the FoodShare program (formerly Food Stamps) on Wednesday, July 1. The new toll free number to call is 1-888-947-6583. FoodShare recipients can call this number to manage their case, to call in changes or to get information about the status of their case.
Assistance is also available on www.ACCESS.wi.gov, at the Coggs Center on 12th and Vliet, or at the Northwest Health Center at 7630 W. Mill Road.

Milwaukee Job Camp
A Milwaukee Job Camp will be held on Thursday, July 9 at Potawatomi. The camp will offer information on how to overhaul, start, change or improve your career. The cost of admission is a single non-perishable food item. Pre-registration is recommended. Register at jobcamp2.eventbrite.com.

Hunger Task Force "Fueling Young Minds" Meal Program
The Hunger Task Force’s “Fueling Young Minds” summer meal program runs now thru the end of August. Kids 18 and under can receive FREE meals at area sites. No paperwork or proof of eligibility is required. Dial 211 to find the meal location nearest you.

Urban Day School FREE Summer Meals
Urban Day School will again sponsor a Summer Food Service Program at both of its campuses on weekdays between now and August 14.
Free meals are made available to eligible children 18 years of age and under. Persons over 18 years of age who are determined by a state or local public educational agency to be mentally or physically disabled and who also participate in a public or private non-profit school program during the regular school year may receive free meals as well.

Social Development Commission FREE Meal Program
The Social Development Commission's Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), which is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and administered by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction is taking place at various locations throughout the City of Milwaukee. Milwaukee School of Languages All Classes Reunion
The Milwaukee School of Languages - All Class Reunion will be held Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25. All MSL alumni are welcome to attend - Classes of 2000 through 2009! Friday night we will meet at German Fest - Miller VIP Pavilion from 6-9pm. Class pictures will be taken at 7:30pm. German Fest advance tickets are available for purchase at the school during office hours.
Saturday there will be a picnic at the school from 11am -3pm. You can bring your own picnic lunch or purchase food at the school. Tour the building and meet with former teachers and classmates.
