Salvation Army Accepting New Toy Applications
Do you know someone with kids ages 0-15 that are in need of assistance with toys this year? The Salvation Army is taking new applications for toys now through Saturday, December 6 at their toy shop distribution center, 5880 N. 60th Street.
Applications are being accepted Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 9am-Noon and 1pm-3pm. On Wednesday they will be accepted from 9am-Noon, 1pm-3pm and 4pm-7pm and on Saturday from 9am-Noon.

Annual Holiday Fling for Kids
The Metropolitan Milwaukee Alliance of Black School Educators will hold its 3rd Annual “Holiday Fling for Kids” Friday, December 5 from 6pm-Midnight at the University Club, 924 E. Wells. Wounded Angels Toy & Book Drive
The Wounded Angels Foundation provides Christmas gifts to foster children and children with incarcerated parents. Little Kids that Santa Forgot but God Remembered program
Career Youth Development is accepting donations for their “Little Kids that Santa Forgot but God Remembered” program. All items donated will be given to the poorest of poor children in our community.
Please donate new toys, clothes, educational books or money to CYD, 2601 N. King Drive. Questions should be directed to James William Nelson Sr. at 264-6888. The donation deadline is Friday, December 19.

Parklawn YMCA Clothing & Food Drive
The Parklawn YMCA is collecting clothing and non-perishable food items now – Monday, December 22 for their first annual food and clothing drive. Donations can be dropped off at 4340 N. 46th St. Collection bins are available M-F 5:30am-8pm, Sat 8am-8pm and Sun 1pm-5pm.
